We’re hiring a part-time historic interpreter to join our weekend staff!

The Historic Interpreter I at the State Capitol works a minimum of two Saturdays a month (10am-5 pm) and provides visitor services and educational programming. Duties include greeting and orienting visitors, leading guided tours for the public and scheduled groups, and operating the gift shop. The person in this position will also help with special events and site projects, as necessary. Pay: $15/hour.

We seek someone with a background in history, public history, and/or other related fields with customer service experience. Job-specific training will be provided.
