Hours & Directions
The North Carolina State Capitol is open to visitors Monday-Friday, 9 am- 5 pm and Saturdays 10 am- 5 pm. The building is closed on Sundays and most state holidays.
TOURS
Self-guided tours are available any time the building is open.
Guided tours are available for groups with a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 30. Reservations must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance through Capital Area Visitor Services.
Free, public guided tours are offered Saturdays at 11 am and 2 pm. Reservations are not needed for these tours. Please check-in at the reception desk 5-10 minutes ahead of each tour time.
